In today’s fashion industry, speed to market is the critical success factor for any retailer. Changes in designs have to be quick and accurate, and physical sampling can be costly and time consuming. The quality of pattern draft is only decided when the sample is made up. Virtual fit allows user to test the quality of the draft without incurring real cost in terms of fabrics, accessories and sewing. Virtual Fit Software is an integrated sampling and designing application set to reduce the lead time of the product development cycle through 3D visualisation of garment and fabric details. This course aims to give a brief introduction on Virtual Fit Software with a good understanding of how it can help to ease work and increase the productivity of sampling.

Objectives
To understand the difference between the traditional way of sampling and using a Virtual Fit software.
Understand the use of various functions and capabilities of a typical Virtual Fit software.
Create an Avatar, virtual garment, and amend pattern drafts based on the given specification.
Determine the position of different accessories and trims across virtual garments.
Evaluate fitting and style virtually.
Make necessary changes to the pattern based on fitting evaluation.

Upon successful completion of the course, student will be awarded the Statement of Attainment (SOA) for WSQ Digital and Physical Prototyping-3 WSQ Certification is nationally endorsed and recognised by industry partners.
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements

Aged 16 years and above
and
2
Course fee funding eligibility : SCs and PRs (Self-sponsored individuals must be at least 21 years old)
and

Possess at least 3 GCE ‘O’ Level credits with a minimum of C6 including English and Mathematics OR ES WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) level 5 and above OR WSQ Advanced Certificate in Fashion Technology OR TaF.tc's Advanced Certificate
and

All students are required to have basic computing skills i.e. turn on the laptop, use the mouse, drag and drop files, use online search engine for research; and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.
Graduation
To graduate, you must fulfil the following requirements

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module
and
2
Be found competent for written, practical and oral assessments
International Students
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements
1
Aged 16 years and above
and
2
High School Diploma equivalent to GCE ‘O’ Level with 3 credits including English and Mathematics OR Qualifications from professional institutes may be considered on a case-by-case basis AND/OR Pass TaF.tc Entrance Test
and

English Language Requirement – Possess a minimum credit in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent OR IELTS score 5.5 or TOEFL score 46
and

Graduation
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module. Student Pass Holders – a minimum of 90% attendance per month will be required

Be found competent for written, practical and oral assessments
We highly discourage you from missing any classes since the entire program is designed to be hands-on intensive. There is also a minimum attendance requirement of 75% of training hours for Singaporean and PRs, and 90% of training hours for international students. If you do not meet the 75% attendance requirement, you will not be eligible to enjoy subsidies nor to sit for the assessment. Make sure you block off your time during your training with us or find an intake option that will ensure you do not miss any classes. You will only wish that you had more time in the class!
