Objectives
To expand the horizons of learners’ appreciation of the art of fashion jewellery making.
To introduce important elements of jewellery making to learners so that they can better recognize and value the jewellery, and become aware of the creative opportunities available to them in the jewellery field. These elements include:
How jewellery is designed;
How jewellery is manufactured - including hand fabrication and mass production;
Types of Gemstones and their value, rarity and trade
Types of metals, including precious metals and base metals
Interpret basic essential jewellery-making skills like wirewrapping, wireworking, components fabrication, in a systematic manner.
Develop professional hand-fabricated jewellery techniques and use them to create your own unique necklace or bracelet, earrings and pendant.
Certificate Issuance
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be awarded a TaF.tc Certificate in Jewellery Making Fundamentals.
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements

Aged 16 years and above
and
2
Course Fee Funding Eligibility : SCs and PRs(Self-Sponsored individuals must be at least 21 Years Old)
and
3
Possess at least 3 GCE ‘O’ Level credits with a minimum of C6 including English and Mathematics OR ES WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above
and
4
All students are required to have basic computing skills i.e. turn on the laptop, use the mouse, drag and drop files, use online search engine for research; and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.
Graduation
To graduate, you must fulfil the following requirements

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module
and
2
Be found competent for written, practical and oral assessments
International Students
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements
1
Aged 16 years and above
and
2
High School Diploma equivalent to GCE ‘O’ Level with 3 credits including English and Mathematics OR Qualifications from professional institutes may be considered on a case-by-case basic AND/OR Pass TaF.tc Entrance Test
and

English Language Requirement – Possess a minimum credit in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent OR IELTS score 5.5 or TOEFL score 46
and
4

Graduation

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module. Student Pass Holders – a minimum of 90% attendance per month will be required

Be found competent for written, practical and oral assessments
We highly discourage you from missing any classes since the entire program is designed to be hands-on intensive. There is also a minimum attendance requirement of 75% of training hours for Singaporean and PRs, and 90% of training hours for international students. If you do not meet the 75% attendance requirement, you will not be eligible to enjoy subsidies nor to sit for the assessment. Make sure you block off your time during your training with us or find an intake option that will ensure you do not miss any classes. You will only wish that you had more time in the class!
